Talking 2002 Olds Bravada

Just a quick update. I haven't found a Bravada specific web site so this seems to be the place. I am an Army Reservist on active duty in Colorado for OIF I, II, & III. I am a Diagnostic Imaging Eng for GE Medical Systems in Utah. I previously owned a 99 Jeep Sport 4.0 that was awsome but it was my wifes car and I wanted something snazzier for her. I recently purchased a 99 Grand, loaded, that turned out to be the worse SUV I have ever owned. 6 mos later I now own a 2002 Bravada that I lucked out on for $23,000 with 3000 miles. So far It has been the best value around for a fully loaded vehicle. It handles like a sports car, gets decent gas mileage (even at 85mph) and goes where I want it to go. Best of all the wife really loves it. I don't think I will buy another chrysler product for awile esp grand cherokees.

Hi pal,
I hope you have many miles of good service with your '02. Paul H has been doing good with his for quite a while...they're a very good looking Bravada.

I have a 2002 Bravada also. We bought it new exactly three years ago, just got my registration lien release after a three year loan, it is my wife's car too! It is really a hot rod so gas milage would be better if we kept out feet off the accelerator so much! The problems we have had, which the dealer has promptly corrected are the automatic mirrors wouldn't always go back right between drivers 1 and 2. This problem reoccurs occasionally, twice the fan clutch has locked up so the car roars and didn't seem to shift properly (the dealer has replaced both of them), something was wrong in the rear air suspension pump and the back end sagged and the dealer fixed this also. We are very happy with the car, especially because of good dealer response. It is bright red (my wife picked out the color!) and we think that this Olds red is the prettiest red on any SUV. Good luck with yours........oh, one complaint not enough cup holders!
