Question P0351

All,
My wife's 1999 Windstar is giving a P0351 code. I noticed a couple of times in the past couple of months after taking car through carwash the van would misfire and sputter for a short period of time but not set the check engine light. Also recently whenever it would rain the van would occasionally misfire and sputter. The check engine light came on and go back off after a couple days of driving. The last time the light came on I borrowed a scan tool from a friend and the code P0351 came up. Light goes back off after a few trips in van. This only happens when raining. The scantool's manuel tells me what the code is(Ignition coil A Primary/secondary circuit malfunction). Have I got a bad coil, coil wire, plug wire? What should I look for now that I have this information?

Thanks for any help.

If you havent done plugs & wires on this van yet, sounds like this would be a good time to do it. Given that code & perfomance issues, sounds like tired wires. Myself, I like OEM wires & plugs.
G/luck
