K&N air filters...any good?
Hey everybody, time to change my air filter, I was wondering should I go with the K&N, I mean is there any nociable difference, or should I stick to the OEM type filter. I'm keeping my original air box, so if anyone has tried this combination and is willing to share I would appreciate it.
Thanx. |

Re: K&N air filters...any good?
Yes, Replace with the K&N. I've been using this brand for over 12 years on several different cars. The performance won't be very noticable, but the fact that you'll NEVER have to replace it is! Just clean with the solvent and re-oil per directions every 10K or so (based on your driving environment). Well worth the cost!

Like Webhead said, the star attraction of K&N filters is the lifetime warranty, it's awesome- if only I kept my cars long enough to notice it!!!
![]() Anyway servicing them is a doddle and they are great if you want to add the tiniest bit of power
