D16Z6 Head on a D16y7 Block?
If I do a mini-me swap and put a d16z6 head on my d16y7 will I need a ecu for a d16z6 head or a d16y8 head? Im asking this because if I do this wont I have to convert my 96 hatch from obd II to obd I? Or will the d16z6 (92-95) ecu run obd II? Or should I just go with the d16y8 head off of a 96-00 civic?
Thanks Nate |

You just need the ECU and a OBD2 to OBD1 conversion harness.

And also yes, an OBDII -> OBDI harness/conversion would be required for that ECU to work.
