4x4 wheel bearing grease

I packed the front wheel bearing (disk brakes) and after I was started I read that I should use Hi-Temp grease.
I had and used Sta-Lube New Generation Wheel Bearing Grease for Disk and Drum Brakes.
Should I have used Hi-Temp grease?

I need to go back in and replace the U-joint in the steering knuckle, shuould I repack with something else?

I would like a grease that is water resistance like a boat trailer bearing grease but it needs to be for disk brakes.

Re: 4x4 wheel bearing grease

The grease you used was perfect for the high heat of disk brakes

Re: 4x4 wheel bearing grease

Good. I will have to get a gallon of it.
I had a small can of it and the parts guy said it was enough to do two or more vehicles. I used all of the small can just doing the front bearings of the Turd.
Most of it is on my pants and shop rags. I love grease and it loves me, all over me. Hands, arms, face, hair etc.
