Finally got a Honda! Need Help

A couple days ago i bought a 80 civic, and the guy i got it from lost the key. He said it runs but needs a new clutch. i wanna know if it runs, but i cant get the ignition apart.....someone help!

the ignition is held in with 2 headless screws (the kind that twist off when you torque them down) you will have to a) drill them out. b)take a Dreml or whatever and cut groves so you can use a screw driver. c)use a set of ez-outs (a new ignition will cost somewhere in the range of $250 from honda)

buy a cheepo ignition or, use an msd blaster coil or an accel super coil....
