the brake warning light is always on! What is the problem?

Hi,

I just got a 95 Maxima but the brake warning light is always on whehter the parking brake is applied or not.
I sent it to STS for a check and got a BIG bill estimate for the change of all the rotors,pads and two rear calipers.
It is overpriced,I think.

So could you please give me some suggestion on how to solve the problem?

haha the light doesnt mean that you need new rotors and pads all around, maybe in the back, but probly your cable is just messed up. go to a smaller auto place and look at it with the repair man while its on the lift.
