99 3000 gt smoking

i have a 1999 3000 gt that smokes like a freight train when it sit park for five minutes or more. it does not smoke when when running or on start up. 70,000 miles and perfect condition has new timing belt and was completely serviced a few months ago. can anyone help??

So which one is it? Do you leave the car running for five minutes in a parked position or something?

I'm assuming its burning oil. Whats the history of your oil changes? Sometimes jumping from a synthetic brand of oil from regular you might be getting some leaking through the seals. If you go to regular from synthetic, you'll have all sorts of problems with the seals and will burn like crazy (if this is the case - immediately go back to the synthetic).

Any more information you can provide will help the tech heads help you out
