i just bought my first honda, it's a 93 hatch w/ 95 gsr motor. is the motor a b18c or b18c1? and whats the difference?

Look at the block code, it's on hte front, next to the tranny a few inches below the head, in flat square "box", and it will have the serial number below it.
The difference between a B18C1 and a B18C, are the pistons, and their compression ratios, the JDM B18C has a 10.6:1 and the USDM GSR has a 10:1. The JDM ECU will have slightly different fuel maps to compensate for this.
