Re: dunno what ECU for swap!

um the si pm6 ecu will work but it has a low rev limit and bad fuel maps. The best to get is a 86-89 teg. I believe. Or you can try to find the rare dohc zc one.
But the best is the teg.

Re: dunno what ECU for swap!

UM well that is actually the stock color gray with ten times more metallic flakes that are HUGE!!

I dunno really what the limiter is because i dont shift at the limiter.

No to be honest im not really sure.

Its not that difficult to find but its expensive when you do. And besides the teg one is better. It has better fuel curves and a 7200? rev limit.

Re: dunno what ECU for swap!

87-89 Teg, or use a ZC ECU.. The Si one will work, but not as good as the others. There's no point in doing the swap if you're not going to use the right computer for the motor.

would it hurt anything to put a PR4 in there for a few days or will it not even work?

Re: dunno what ECU for swap!

Is the PR4 the Si ECU? If so, it will work.

Just make sure the ECU is for non-OBD MPFI. Si ECU will run the car, but not nearly as well as the Teg or ZC one will.

the 89 Teg ECU is PG7, I had one when I had my ZC they work real well.

No speed limiter unlike the PM7 (ZC) ecu

give HAPrecycler.com a shout they probably have some.

The si ecu is a pm6 too.

use the PG7 outta the 89 integra it works well. screw everything else they're saying use the pg7... if you can get your hands on the zc i'd use it but it's not that much of a diff. i've used it for a week and couldn't tell anything except i couldn't get over about 111 mph.
