'87 Grand National - Finished

AH! Sometimes I hate modeling. For some reason, the GN will not put all 4 wheels down at the same time. I think the frame is bent. I deleted the 3rd break light, because it looks like shite. I should have stuck to painting this all black also. Oh, and when I opened the box there was a hunk missing out of the window frame on the drivers side. Revell ran out of plastic. My patch job sucked eggs. The wheels keep falling off. The mirrors suck, if you touch one it falls off. I don't think I'm going to spend anymore time on this one. I'm putting a rocket motor on it and launching it up to Boston. Fawk it.

Here's a couple of photos so you all can laugh at me and call me names.

Barry...IT"S ONLY A MODEL! If it were real, then we'd laugh! I like it. It looks kinda redish in the first pic, but nice job on the engine!

haha! Yes, indeed. Thanks, your post cracked me up. It 'IS' only a model I've heard from a couple people now that the same happened to their builds of the GN.

I built a floating shelf to display my models, today. How do y'all like it?

Re: '87 Grand National - Finished

Thanks guys! I guess it looks ok because I cheated on the photos. Now it's up on a shelf and unless you're 7' tall, you'll never notice.

I am going to start my first Tamiya model. I think it's an old fav around AF. The BMW 320i Gr.5 Jägermeister. First some research, then some paint!
