I'd like to see that too. This thread really caught my eye because it's my goal to make a ZXTT that's as fast or faster then a Z06 for half the price...I bet it's do-able.

One of the Z32's nick name is the Z06 killer, I've seen some videos of it, but unfortunately my POS computer does not permit me to post them

i've actually seen that race in person. like the dummy that i am i left my camcorder that day of the races, the 300zx(modded of course) got the jump on the Z06 and ran him all the way past a 1/4 mile but around half a mile the Z06 caught up and one. imo i think the 300zxtt won cause it beet it to the 1320 but everyone else there was saying "no a race is a race a win is a win" so whatever, the 300zx won. also i've raced a modded 300zx in my dads c5 vette on a freeway roll, he jumped first at about 75mph and it took me until 140mph to pass him, so yeah that guy was fast

stock for stock, the vette would win, hands down. if it was just a c5, it would be a good race, but im sorry, without a bit of mods, no 300zx would beat a zo6. i had the privledged of riding in a zo6 at an autox last year, and...........damn. the torque itself was incredible.

did you even read what i posted, it says the 300zxtt was modded. and the post is about modding a 300zxtt to perform like the Z06. key word here MOD

I don't have a Z32TT anymore due to the fact that semi trucks are stupid! But when I had it, I raced a Z06 on the highway. My TT was modded quite a bit (a lot of aerodynamics and suspension helped in this race as well) I was cruising on the 15 (San Diego Frwy) late at night and a Z06 rolled up and would get next to me and run it and let off until I looked at him and we both took off. We were dead even until about 130. I was shocked as I had even beat a GSXR1000 at high speeds. At 130, I slowly (and I mean SLOWLY) pulled away from him up until about 150. They're fast and I'm convinced if we started going any slower than 80, he would have eaten me.
