D15b
If I have a D15B carburated engine, and I put a FI system on it, what kind of power differences/gas milage differences should I expect to see?

Re: D15b
PGMFI is more effiecent than carbs, and more power due to better fuel ignition?!
You probaly wont get the power gains that you are expecting though. |

Re: D15b
Well I'm not feeling that much more power, but specifically on the milage. I'm averaging 41.4MPG now, where I was lucky to break 32 before. I'm wondering if its because I'm using an carburated engine with FI

you should know the power and gas milage difference. This is simmilar to a mpfi d15b2 its still not a mpfi d15b7 lol |

Re: D15b
What I was (trying) to ask is if there is something different with the Carb engine that made it get better gas milage than the FI when FI is swapped onto it. Not quite sure how to ask... lol

Re: D15b
No its just the fuel injection setup, thats why they are on cars today because they can acell at getting better gas mileage.
