What could this car take? It's a 1992 version, weight is around 2542pounds as far as I know. What do you guys think, could it take a Subaru WRX, Evo, Firebird TransAm, 300Z TT, Supra TT even? Stuff in that range.

Well, obviously the car is modded extensively so yes anything else that is modded extensively enough could beat it including an STI, EVO and Firebird.

Its not much of a comparison when you're not talking about a stock vehicle.

do you own this car or what? id take it to the track or find out what it runs in the 1/4 and go from there... any of those cars you listed with a moderate amount of go fast parts could be a contender easily...

And no, I don't own the car though I'm looking into buying it. So maby in a few weeks I might be able to post a 1/4 slip for it.

Buy It!!! The fastest Car in my town for awhile was thisb yellow first gen DSM w/ a rebuild and a 20G turbo, it had 500HP at the fly... for races he'd run 30-35psi, thing was pretty sick, and this one could be there, perhaps all it needs is a bigger turbo.

how much does he want for it... personally id rather buy a stock TSI or GSX so you know it hasnt been roughed up too bad... 300whp can be had with those cars very easily and cheaply so unless this guys giving you an awesome deal id just go do it myself to a stock car...
