There are Chrome plating kits that you can get for plating small metal parts. The parts trees are chrome with a special process that can not be done cheaply, and easily. Best thing would be to use Alclad.

It's a special process that can't be done at home . . .

Chrome Tech USA has a great reputation.

Re: chrome plating

all you need that is special is the conductive basecoat..after you apply that you plate the part like any other metal part..it gets dipped in a tank. You can get triple chrome plating kits that come with the tank and everything..but your looking to spend around 5-600 bucks after it's said and done. and that is just for a 1 gallon setup, which is pretty small.

and chrometech is alright..but he does not handle the plating..he has a commercial plater which he just sends the parts on to. So if a part falls off your rack, tough shit. He is just a middle man to make money.

They don't have a website, but they are cheaper than chrometech and have about a 2 week turnaround time.Plus they do their own chrome in house.
