12a vs. 13b

i have a 1987 mazda rx7. my friend has a 1981 mazda rx7. he keeps saying that the little 12a will beat my 13b. i dont think it will but i just wanted to know which car you guys think will win before i race.

your 87 will beat his 81 stock vs. stock... if he has mods and you don't then I have no clue

his 81 has a chipped ecu and a posi unit. and his 81 is 400 pounds lighter but mine has 40-50 more horse.

a chipped ecu? in an 81... hmm... how does the computer run the mechanically carbuerated motor?......stock vs stock .... he could win... if your motor is on its last breath... pouring clouds of white sweet smoke out the exhaust...to many variables... race him and tell us who wins

o yeah, you can totaly put a chip on a 12a.... first thing you ahve to do is drop in a 13b and then.... oh wait...

the 1981's did come with ECU's but they where "emmisions control units" they controled all the useless solenoids..

never know maybe he was dumb enough to "chip" it rather than just remove it all and throw it in the woods.

that is what he told me. he "chip the ecu". he cant really so that can he?
