Question 98 Ranger

I have a 98 ranger with a 6 cly. How long will this truck last me? It currently has 90,000 miles?

Hi,

With good maintenance and sensible driving habits, the 3.0 L V-6 engine should last at least 400,000 km [250,000 miles]. [Don't know about the 4.0 L engine, though.] Ditto for the 4-speed automatic transmissions IF the tranny fluid is changed every 60-80,000 km. The 5-speed manual transmission rarely breaks.
