b16a sec. gen. trans question!

I have a b16a swap that had the 5th gear synchro go out on me. need to know if the usdm and the jdm gears are the same so I can order the new synchro from honda. Also if possible need to know the production numbers on the transmission to give to honda. I would appriciate it very much. thanks.

Yes they are the same. When you go to Honda, just tell them you need the part out of a DelSol vtec model, it came with a B16A3.

I would get a integra LS 5th gear..costs 80.00 around here..youll get alot better gas milage when highway cruising..but this all depends on what youve done to the motor too
