1990 Cav Interior Lights and Question

Hi All,

I have a 90 Cav 2.2L 5 speed.

Yesterday, I got in the car and the interior light came on as normal, then I started the engine and I could here a clicking noise (relay) and the interior dome light, seatbeat light on panel where all flashing with the clicking. Eventurally this stopped only to start again later. I then noticed that the interior dome light was not shutting off at all. I have since removed the acc fuse for this circuit. Has anyone encounter this, I'am concerned about this as the horn is on the same circuit and this would be enough for a reck check here in canada to pull the vehicle on a safety.

Also, could someone tell me if I could take the bucket seats out of a 1989 cutlass supreme and install them in a 90 cav both are 2 door.

Thanks,
Steve

A relay would be an obvious suspect.
