please help!!!!!!!!!!!

my friend has a 99 ls with 22,000 miles never run hard sep for 1 mile aka 4 runs at the track last friday ... ok so he has i/e/h short shifter ngk plugs wires thats all. i know its not alot. oh and he can shift so so maybe 7/10. and he only ran a 16.4 . he did that three time and the other was a 16.6 what the hell is up with that. can any one give me advise to tell him. where should he shift at.. and what should he do to get off the line better... anything will help thanks................

he just has to drive better. my friend jeremiah ran his stock ls to a 15.85 in the 1/4

yea he just needs to learn how to launch and drive the car better. he should be running low 15's depending on track conditions. but in the 15's

well you know what im sayin......he should just put the GReddy T4 turbo on it wit the frontmount intercooler and a big old blow off valve and put a 100 shot NOS in it. he might run a 15.0 then. NA MEAN! but on the real. i still think his car should launch around 3,400 RPM or maybe 3,200 RPM since he aint got VTEC. he'll get there it was his first time at the track wit that car so....its gravy.

First of all, Greddy doesn't make a T4 turbo kit for Integras, it comes with a Mitsubishi 18G turbo. Next, if you actually added the turbo and a hundred shot of NITROUS you'd better be running faster than 15s. Just practice launching and getting the 60' time down. Tell him to shift as close to the redline as he possibly can.

and what is wrong with that???? i said low 15's and it looks as if you are reitterating what is said. besides, car and driver said that that an ls does 16 in the 1/4. now he does have a few mods. in time he could squeeze around a 15.5-15.4. it can be done with those mods. he just needs to start practicing on the launch.
