Stock stuff

You guys know where I can find a gray stock shift knob, shift boot, and the brake covering thing? Looks like 3SX might have the shift knob, but I want the rest to be gray also so that it'll match the interior of my car since everything else is stock. Thanks in advance.

Re: Stock stuff

Or can the stock ones just be reconditioned like the seats (assuming the seats can be done so without buying new covers).

Re: Stock stuff

Any mitsu dealership should have the parts.

JC whitney has a generic shift boot that will fit the car and is 100% leather and will not flake apart like the stock one does.

www.moboleathers.com sells a full line of shift boot and e-brake leather replacments.

Re: Stock stuff

Worked fine for me. Try a direct link to the shift boot page.

I was going to suggest mobo leathers but thats already been said enough. Thats where I bought my shift boot and e-brake boot from and the quality is top notch, I believe the guys wife makes them and they are amazing. You can get any color choice you want, so im assuming you want the stock charcoal.

Yeah, I think there's something stupid with the ISP here at school. If I tried connecting to the site with the dial-up, it goes right through but trying to get to it from the network is ridiculous.

At any rate, did anyone ever buy any shifters off ebay before? Which one is better?

Shifters or Shift Boots because theres a huge difference. Most of the shift boots that are less than 20$ on e-bay are not leather, and if it says they are, then its just like the stock boot, leather on the outside and plastic on the inside. Just get the stuff from mobo leathers, with shipping included its like 30$ for the shift boot.
