My boyfriend was being nice one day and decided to wash my car for me at the dealership he works at. He put something on one of my rims that evidently was too strong and it now looks faded. It is not like the other rims. Can this be fixed? If so how and how much would it cost? I have 17" TSW VX1 Silver rims.
Thanks in advance

There are indeed several products that cause problems with alloy wheels. Just talked to a "Greased Lightening" rep and he told me the safeest products are made by Eagle 1. Anyway, you need to take the rim to a pro and have the finish redone-it is not a big job mainly if the wheel only needs clearcoated. The wheel repair shops here on the East Coast charge anywhere between $50 and $150 shipped. Check out Hubcap Heaven in Suitaland, MD and the Wheel Exchange in Raleigh, NC.:flash:
