1995 Grand Am 2.3 Idle Problem
My Grand Am is receiving a service engine light when the car is in park at idle. I receive an error code 35 which is the idle air control. I changed the IAC and it did not fix the problem. I also changed all my vacuum hoses and the oil/air seperator with no luck fixing the problem. Any suggestions???

Not sure what to do?
I've been having the same problem for about a 9 months now. I changed the IACV four times and the problem still hasn't been resolved. Anyones suggestions who's encounterd this before sure would help.

I am not sure what the scanner is called. I had it scanned on a Navy base. The machine is maybe 12 in wide and 8 in high. It reads all the info ie Idle RPMs, IAC, and more. I can actually watch the IAC number go up, down and then to zero. A few seconds later the engine light comes on. The idle is a little high between 1100-1200 and everything else is normal. I have received code 35 three times. Is that enough info? Thanks.
