Non-protruding cd deck?

Hello all,

I currently own a 1995 Sonoma Extended cab (not sure if this matters) and I've been looking for a cd player to replace the horribly outdated cassette. I've been to crutchfield.com, because they have that 'What fits my car?' thing. It comes up with plenty of results...but every one of them sticks out 1.5 inches from the dash. I can't deal with this, especially when I know that a proper sized deck must be made for it. Anybody have one, or know of one, that remains even to the dash? Just looking for something cheap that will play cd's.

I have added a Pioneer deck and it sticks out...dont look all that bad...i remember just reading something about installations witch dont stick out...if i find that info i will get back to you again!

There are numorous dash kits availible for your car. You can get one that will sit flush and not stick out at all. Just stop into a best buy and pick one up.
