Question 1998 Blazer coolant replacement

Hello all, Can I replace the dex fluid with the green stuff after I flush the system without doing any damage to the system? 1998 blazer

It is not recommended, however I have seen cars come in here with the green coolant. Call your dealer.

Re: 1998 Blazer coolant replacement

flushed the heater core and found it to be very clean. Checking the maintenence record i found the system was flushed 2 years ago so at this piont I would treat the Dexcool the same as the older green coolant. I still do not know wht to do about the battery thing.
