slip yoke
I took my 99 Rodeo 2wd to a mechanic to have my slip yoke greased because I read on the forums that thump or clunk when stopping or taking off is due to the slip yoke needing to be greased and the mechanic looked under my vehicle and told me I don't have a slipyoke, that the 4wd have a slipyoke ,but 2wd doesn't so I'm really confused. any info about this, or if I do have a slipyoke and the mechanic just didn't see it maybe some info on where to direct him.
Thank You |

I just called him(he's a personal friend) and told him he didn't know what he was talking about because I do a slip yoke, I also printed him the info you gave me so he can see pics. He didn't realize that I was talking about in the driveshaft, I don't know what he was thinking.
Thank you so much for your help. |
