what year/model parts for 1st gen b16a

i know this has probably been asked a thousand times, but i've never payed much attention b.c i didnt have mine yet.
what year and model car should i get a distributer cap, plugs, wires, water pump, and timing belt for my b16 . i just got it last night, and was thinkin about droppin it in this weekend. will parts for a usdm 99-00 civic si work alright, i know its obd2. also, didnt the del sol come with a b16 from 92-95 or 96?
any answers to these questions would be much appreciated.
thanks

Is it a JDM B16A.

Because if it is, the distributor HAS to be from a jdm b16a because its obd0.

Water pump and timing belt can be from a
94+ del Sol DOHC VTEC
or
99-00 CIVIC SI

Distributor wires will work from any b-series vtec engine. but just get ones from a del sol or civic si

Okay you HAVE to use all jdm b16a distributor parts, except for the spark plug wires.

A distributor cap i would assume work, but i would check up on that.

Re: what year/model parts for 1st gen b16a

One question:

Is the engine mount (that is on engine, not on chasis) the one that is on the right side of the engine so that means attached to a block not tranny different on B16A cause I have B16A2 engine and HASport right mount don't work with engine mount that is on that engine :0(

I was totally pissed off when I saw that...instead of being in streight line engine mount from hasport and engine mount from engine B16A2, they are in V shape :0( ...

So now what we have to do is widden that second hole on Hasport mount so the eng.mount and hasport mount will be in streight line...

Anyone had that problem or knows other solutions how to solve that problem...

CYA
It should of look like thise engine - - chasis
in my case engine ^ chasis

Yes the mount bracket on the drivers side of later b series motors is different than the early b series motors. You will need a 90-93 integra bracket to match with the hasport mount unless you feel like modding your current bracket like you were suggesting.

Re: what year/model parts for 1st gen b16a

S.h.i.t I knew that there will be something...
everything is goin wrong with that swap
I buy everything to bolt it in and then on the end I have to modiffy it, that sucks big time...
The case is there has been about 5-10 cars in Slovenia with those engines B16A1 :0( and only ITR 98' that is all...

There is just one tricky question do you think that I'll have problems when using axles from B16A2 92' civic VTI (SiR) on my 90' civic (130HP-D16A9) I have hydro tranny on from B16A2...I hope that they'll fit...
What do you think...

You're going to try and put a hydro tranny in your EF?! The hydro tranny has a different mount than the cable one too.

Re: what year/model parts for 1st gen b16a

YOP I bought that one two when I realized that I can't get any cable tranny in whole Europe :0(
Then I bought the hydro mount from Hasport, so the clutch one is at home and I'm selling it...
As far as the pedal goes I took out one from civic 93' VTI so all we need to do is to modiffy the part under the dash, already did the hole for that cilinder now we must weld that pedal in ...

I just hope that axles won't do me problems
