It will work from what I know, but the fuel maps would be so weak that you'd get crappy power and run lean. The P28 is for a 125hp 1.6L, which is a world away from the 180hp 1.8L you're trying to run with it...

send the ecu to zydyne or another company and have it re-chipped

hondata is who you'll want to deal with to get it remapped...not sure that zdyne deals with obd1 ecu's.

a p28 is the most sought after obd1 ECU. you can use it with any engine, provided you use the correct maps
