idea
i have a very trick idea. take a 97' 4-door cavy remove the motor, trany, suspension, and drivetrian basically anything to make it move has to go. then i put a rearwheel drive drivetrian under it, a big motor. will probably have to put a fuel cell in and cut out and put in custom floor. if any body has any ideas on how to make this posible send the ideas this way. thanks for any help you give.

Re: idea
Uh.. Yes. Very trick, but kinda pointless seein' as there's plenty o' RWD cars out there.
Hell, just take the body and mount it on an S10 shortbed chassis and drop a V8 in it. |

Re: idea
It's been done before. They make kits to change the gen 2 cavs to RWD and drop a 350 in it. They also make a kit to do it to a Focus.

Re: idea
Jeez, musta been one helluva kit...a V8 would twist the average gen 2 cavi in half!
![]() Lunatik: Any conversion'll work. It just depends on how fat ya wallet is and how determined ya are to make it work. Shortcuts are good things sometimes, tho. The S10 is already an RWD vehicle with a full frame. Just drop the cavy body on a 2WD pickup chassis and lower the S10 suspension. V8's fit right in the S10's rails.
