eeeshhy geeeshy do not i repeat do not do this..... Fuel pump cutoff switches are the bullshit since there is still fuel in the lines and in the fuel filter they will get a few blocks before the car actually sputters out. Do an ignition or starterkill switch.
Remove the knee panel find the ignition harness it's not hard since it comes right from the key cylinder. Starter wire is black w/ white stripe. This is for a 3rd gen teg. get a momentary switch from a hardware store or radio shack aswell as a 30 amp relay. Some wire will also be needed. First cut the start wire. Connect one side to terminal 30 on the relay connect the other to 87 which is NO or Normally open. Connect terminal 85 to a constant 12v source. Connect 86 to one of the wires on the momentary switch. Connect the other wire of the momentary switch to ground. Now test when you have the key in and cranked to the start position the car shouldn't start till you push the momentary switch. By pushing the momentary switch it sends ground to the relay letting it flip closed which inturn lets current pass through it and starts the car. Now find a sneaky spot for the momentary switch and mount it then just put the beast back together having peace of mind...

Ignitition and starter kills are easier to bypass. Fuel pump one isn't as easy.
