well there is the Mitsubishi 3.0 from the diamonte (sp?) which is basically a direct bolt up to the V6 A604 tranny. There is also the 3.5 from the montero, but that swap is a lot more complicated. If your venge is an I4 i would go the turbo route. The 2.0 I4 avengers shared the same engine with the eclipse from those years so they can share the same parts such as turbo kits and anything else you may have in mind. the suspension components however were not interchangable b/c of weight differences.

The I4 is the 420A and is shared between the Avenger, NA Talons/Eclipses, and Neons.

best motor
the 4g63 is the best motor you can get that is the Eclipse 2.0l turbo that is a bad as motor with lots of easy, and inexpensive mods plus with a turbo you can always just run a intercooler and boost controler and just kick as shit i would go that route if i was doing a motor swap and they bolt directly on to the 420a tranny from what i have heard but there are also a lot of mods for the 420a on ebay i have that motor with about 200hp and a 55shot of nitrous, kicks ass

the I4 is better than the v6 that come with the car... if u have the I4 just turbo it.
