Clutch

Just wondering if anyone has every used the Ford Motor Sports 10.5" clutch assembly? I've been looking at it and wondering how good it is compared to the stock assembly on a 94' gt. If anyone has used one before please let me know what ya thought about it... Thanks

Re: Clutch

If this is the HD one, pedal pressure is a DOG. I had one in my '92 LX 5.0 and I hated it. The Cobra clutch kit was much nicer, almost stock pressure and lots of grip. Both of these have the same clutch discs but the pressure plates are different.

Anyway, that was my experience.

Talking

I had one on my 90 GT with over 450 rwhp and a regular Z 5 speed. I loved it w/ a adj quadrant. It had one catch point and it drove great. The few that drove my car hated it and my girlfriend could hardly drive it. No problem, I'll do all the driving!

I've used several of the Motor Sports clutches and also the King Cobra clutches and prefer the King Cobra clutch. Though I can't provide any sort of documented proof, I felt the K.C. was at least as strong as the M.S. and had a lighter clutch pedal feel.
