YZF R6 Beef it up

In about 6 months I am purchasing a Yamaha YZF R6. My plans are to put pulsing white ground effects on it, new exhaust, and machine down teh heads. Does anyone know how much hte heads can be machined before it gets deadly or wont start? Also, I am looking for other suggestions on the bike (other than carbon fiber, I do not have that kind of cash).

Haha again, cant back up your opinions with any true facts. The guy didnt ask what bike to get so I dont know why you even posted that. Typical GIXXER rider, Squidly and Errogant.

You don't even have enough experience to talk about squids and arrogance (you spell arrogant this way).

If you talk to anybody who has riden a YZF-R6 and compared it to any other supersport will agree that the R6 doesn't come alive until way later in the range. There is nothing false and untrue about that statement that I made in the other topic. In which I prefer the other 600s over this overrated bike. Just drop it.

I don't mean to be an ass, but practice what you preach.

Re: YZF R6 Beef it up

I don't believe that you could beat me out on the track. In a different topic you mentioned that you are 20 but started when you were 19. I doubt you go the track often or even at all. In one year or so time you purchased a bike, purchased your riding gear, have enough money for tires because racing will kill them, enough money for the service cycles, and have enough money and time to do trackdays? Grow up and quit thinking you are Valentino Rossi.

Again, I'm not trying to start an argument, but judging by these posts, you came at him first EGcivicSI. Nothing in Tetsuo's post was even directed towards you.

Integra06, he is refering to another topic, in which I did start some mess but I don't take it back. He just doesn't know how to drop stuff because he keeps bringing things up. Letting things linger.

Re: YZF R6 Beef it up

Integra get all the info before you assume shit.

Yes im 20 im not a track star, never said I was. Only been riding about 7 months and been to the track 4 times. So no im no star but I can handle my own. I get race take offs super cheap from my buddy so tires are NOT even a problem. Had all my gear way before I had my bike. Maybe your just really old and fat and are sad that you arent as nimble as a 20 year old. I mean everyone has to start somewhere.

Just remember you took the first blow, just backing my shit up. I will never drop it as long as you keep talking shit.

Damn this has gotten way off topic. Funny shit though and I would like to ask for either EGcivicSi or Tetsuo to dirrect me to where this spill originaly took place.

Anyhoo... To get back on topic here... I would get a new windscreen(double bubble or something), get rid of the fender, frame sliders, not quite sure how they work or if they make them for the R6 but there are these things called velocity stacks that do something with your speed i think(not to familiar with them), try to lose weight on it, full exhaust if you have the money.

This might not all be in your price range but those are things that I would add just off the top of my head...

By the way... I like that you are going to place a ground effects kit on your bike, I think those are pretty kick ass to me.
