Re: arg!!!!!!! my f*ckin' car doesn't like to start

maybe you have a loose connection, check all your ignition cables, distributer, etc. i did that and there happened to be a wire in the ignition coil harness that wasnt sposed to be there.

Re: arg!!!!!!! my f*ckin' car doesn't like to start

that happened to my old 14.

my problem was the key wasn turning the ignition properly.

to see if thats your problem, remove your steering column. remove the ignition cylinder and try starting your car with a screw drver. if it turns over right away, then that is your problem. i think its a $75 part at the dealer.

Re: arg!!!!!!! my f*ckin' car doesn't like to start

same exact problem here. my car takes a while to start, but it does start in the end. the nissan technician said it's due to a bad fuel pressure regulator. you should find out if that's the case.

Re: arg!!!!!!! my f*ckin' car doesn't like to start

well, i took the car in for an electrical diagnosis cuz i was wonderin bout that problem and that's what they told me. you can also check it yourself w/ like a fuel pressure gauge. it should be like 34 psi at idle...well http://www.240sx.org/faq/articles/fu...gulator_wo.htm
if you wanna check it out yourself. if the car does start in the end, there's a good chance it's your fuel pressure regulator. i believe it's an easy change (but i may be really wrong), so if the mechanic wants to do it for like 200 bux, say no and buy the part yourself.

Re: arg!!!!!!! my f*ckin' car doesn't like to start

make sure none of your fuel line hoses is bent so that it doesn't block fuel going to the engine. Happened to my car...the scent of gas is because you just cranking the thing over and over again and it is just pushing it out to the exhaust.

Re: arg!!!!!!! my f*ckin' car doesn't like to start

i have a slight problem with my car not starting too. i go out to lunch today from school, and go back out to the car, try to start it, and it just clicks. i know its a dead battery cuz its happened before, and a new battery solves it instantly. but i just got a new battery like a friggin month ago. is it the alternator?? something shorting out and draining power?? i got someone to jump start it, and drove it home. let it run for a minute or two, then shut it off. i tried starting it a second later, and its still clicking. you would think the battery would be able to charge back up during my drive home. but it didnt. im so friggin confused right now, i checked all the wires i could find, nothing grounding. unhooked my amp, unhooked everything i had plugged in, i.e. fuzz buster, stereo, etc. and still no go. what is it thats draining my battery?

Re: arg!!!!!!! my f*ckin' car doesn't like to start

it is probably your alternator... and if you know anyone that can help you check for shorts then that might be the problem to, just get it checked out some where..
