engine check light?

it comes on once and a while. for no reason i think. what does it really mean when you get that light? cuz when im drving like all of a sudden it just comes on and sometimes it dont at all...something wrong with my ecu?

You might want to hook it up to a computer and see what it says is wrong. Just a thought.

could be many things..thus the Check Engine light..I mean, could be from an O2 sensor to your fuel sensor...hope its nothing costly!

It just may be time to service your engine. Get a reading from your ecu codes to find out what the computer thinks.

yo eric..i'm with Digitized on this one.. check those two things first... Those are the small things that usually trip off the Check engine light.
