Old Five Series

How much worse are the old five series to drive than the latest and greatest? Surely there can't be that much difference?

Reason I ask, is I want to get a five series but am having trouble justifying spending $$$$'s on the newer models when older models like this one for example still look great.

Any advice greatfully received.

Re: Old Five Series

take an older one for a test drive and see for yourself, the e34 is a very well built vehicle, mine performs just as well and in alot of cases better than my parents' 2 year old 3 series (and for $21,000 less)
