Engine Swap in the Bay Area

I know there's a lot of places in the Bay Area to get an engine swap. But I don't know of one. Can someone give me some suggestions? I live in Vallejo, Ca. So the closer the better. PM me or email me at [email protected] for any and all suggestions. Or just post them up here so that people with the same question can find the answer here. Thanks in advance.

well there's a good place out in melptais called BlackTraks also thier on the net so you can ask them how much for what kind of swap you want.
But I must say they are a little pricey$$$$ labor is about $750 for what ever swap.

There's a place somewhere between hayward/fremont i believe it's called D&R, but i'll ask my friend to be sure where it's exactly located.

Yeah, it's called DnR, and it's located in hayward.. A friend of mine got a B16 installed there in his hatch, and he hasn't had any problems.

I'll try to get you a phone number, my friend used to work there, at DnR, so I'll ask him when I see him

Re: Engine Swap in the Bay Area

Pretty sure this is the info:

DNR Performance
25710 industrial #2
Hayward, ca
(510)783-5200

Also, call Modacar, it's in Livermore, I don't think they do swap's but they might be able to refer you to a couple of places, so you can compair prices. It might be a good idea to actually stop by and talk to them, rather than over the phone. Go to www.modacar.com/
