vidz and sound clips on prelude exhausts

hey, i just bought my self a 92 prelude si (australia) auto.

i plan on putting a exhaust.

what do u guy recommend and do u recommena full cat back or also get a new aftermarket header.
i dont want a full on sound. just sume thing sporty but nothing to ricey.

does anyone here have or now any sites that i can download. sound clips of the exhuast sytem ona prelude (does the sound vary on wheather the car has vtec or not) and vidz.,

cause my civic which im seeling already had a loud sound when i bought it, and i dont think it had headers. and exhaust system. looks like the previous owner did the piping and i hate it. its way too loud

thanks. and also, can u guys tell me what exhaust is it and is it all the way to the engine.

The Apexi WS2 or RSR Exmag. Preludes aren't like Civics in that they are unbearable without their mufflers. Much louder.

Plus these two aren't the rice cans you see on other cars.

yeah but hows the sound on those 2.
and also when i do get those, is it a cat back.

so it only goes up to the catalyctic converter.

so if i get it, do i have to buy an aftermarket header. cause if not thats good, im on a tight budget.

how much are those u siad. cause i dont wanna spend as much as those mugen exhausts.

Re: vidz and sound clips on prelude exhausts

You do not need a new header with a new catback system. Header exhanges are more or less independent of the catback. Mugen exhausts and Mugen headers are different. Mugen headers are nice, Mugen exhausts aren't so nice.

Those two are the quietest best performing catbacks in the Prelude market right now. The Exmag is a very nice quality system that sounds great. I myself have one ordered.

I don't know of any, but I'll definitely try to get a clip of it for you when it comes.
