not kicking down
Ok my friend has a 1997 Ford ranger 3.0 auto. when going down the road if he stomps on the gas the RPM go up but it doesn't kick into overdrive. the trans flood was changed not to long ago and new filter was put in.it kicked it not overdrive fine then.can any one help out on this one

It will not shift into o/d when floored. If under normal operating conditions chances are a bad TPS sensor.
