'89 Power Door Locks?

My wife and I just got an '89 Max from my wife's aunt. The car's in really good shape and we like it a lot. But suddenly, the power door locks stopped working this afternoon. We checked the fuses but they're ok.

Also, the touch pad for the keyless entry beeps when you press in the code, but will not open the doors.

Any ideas? anyone?
