I Have A 2001 Blazer THAT DOESN'T START EVERY NOW AND THEN I HAVE ELECTRICAL POWER TO EVERY THING ELSE BUT WHEN I GO TO START IT THERE IS NO ELECTRICAL POWER GOING TO THE STARTER SOLENIOD TO ENGAGE IT. I Have 52,000 Miles On Mine And It Just Started A COUPLE OF Weeks Ago. IT Has Been To The Dealer A FEW TO MANY TIMES AND THEY CAN'T FIND THE PROBLEM. Also My Problems Have Occured In The Early Mornings And Late Evenings Could Moisture Be A Problem In A Sensor Some Where That Is The ? I Have.

Re: 2001 Starting Woes
Can you find a starter relay? If there is one, put dielectric grease on the connectors. Usually voltage goes from the ignition switch to park/neutral(or clutch)switch then to the starter relay and then to the starter.
