Absolutely. I worked on my Hot Rod made a couple bad mistakes leading me to start all over, now I know what not to do.

Try and find a source on the net for MV lenses, their usually used in model railroading. They come in various sizes and tinted colors. They are clear or tinted lenses with a chrome reflector back bonded to them.

Here is a car I used them for headlights on.

i dont think you should be building models if you want everything to come out perfect the first time, unless your a magic model fairy your gonna mess up the first time around at something, shit i have messed up on the 5th and 6th time around. you sound like one of those people that wants to look at a model and watch it put it self together and be perfect, lol. sorry dont mean to rant. and please dont take any offence to what i say.

Re: about headlights/taillights

YOu can get LED light sets from this site:

www.scaleperformance.com

They are under the Bit Char-G accessories, and can be modded to fit larger models. They come with a switch a battery and LEDs.

Cheers

Nik
