Does anyone have a good suggestion for which kind of carb to use, in a 82 f150 with a 4.9 (300ci)

well, right now you have a carter 1 barrell. A lot of people use those holly 500 4 barrells and get a 4 barrell intake.

you can get a two barrel adpater from clifford and then put a two barell 390cfm holly . that setup works real good on stock or lightlymodified engines
