Re: Bov

look in the 'read this BEFORE you ask a question' sticky thread at the top of the forum. look into the 3rd or fourth post. big letters about BOV works best.

Re: Bov

in three months im gonna buy the 1g BOV and i heard good things about it, as i was told and many people will tell you, you should also upgrade the stock UICP at the same time...the benefits from a better BOV is you will be getting factory psi and not lose any boost pressure..from what i was told

Re: Re: Bov

the stock 2g BOV will leak at pressures over 13 psi or so.

"the best BOV is the one that doesn't leak."

the most popular ones in the DSM world are the 1g BOV's because of cost [cheap] and reliability [20+psi, non leaky]

with a little more $$ to spend you can get a GReddy Type-S. not as accepted in this forum, but nobody can give a straight reason for that, just that it's a name brand, and they have never actually run one, blah, blah, blah. i run it and i love it for it's flexibility of tuning adjustment. never once had a problem, and it is very easily dumped back into the intake.

do a search on BOV and spend the next week sifting thru the once a week neubee post on 'what's the best BOV'

and get some Dejon Tools UICP. this is the best for the $$. just do a search

Re: Bov

it can be if you are venting it, well, it is even if you are dumping it with at least a K&N FIPK and the dump tube hacked. i'm running like 14.5 daily and up to 17 if i wanna go real fast [but it's a T-Toosmalljones]. it is very noticable nonetheless.

Re: Bov

im also looking for a new BOV...considering many options, but right now im leaning toward the 1g polished bov because of the price and the 20+ psi capability...is the 1g bov loud, i want a fairly loud bov because the sound is so amazing. I do not want sound to get in the way of performance but i would prefer it to be loud. Also does anyone know if a blitz bov has the capability to be dumped back into the intake?

Re: Bov

Well this is one subject that never goes away. Anyway, i been using a Forge Motorsports diverter valve for almost 2 years. It fits your stock uicp if you don't want to change it yet. I just ordred my new UICP from Dijon tool, they custom did the pipe so i can fit a 2g style bov in there hard pipe, no charge.

105 for the pipe in any color plus S&H

The Divertervalve (if you intersted) cost 140 something when i bought it a while ago. I think they went up on the price but i know they include there "spring" kit now. It's all there springs and spacers so you can adjust the valve. That was 15 bucks by itself when i got mine
