Hey Polygon....

I was just wondering if you've ever ran your lebaron in the 1/4? I see a lot of people talking trash about it but i know that just about any engine with a turbo can be worked over real nice.

This guy that lives next to my friend actually has a volkswagen rabbit with the same engine you have swapped into it. the thing i cant remember is if it was turbo'd or supercharged.... my friend was telling me how the guy had some connection with chryslers r & d department and when they're done testing engines with various power adders like turbo's and superchargers, that they sell them or give them away cheap... i guess the guy used to street race a lot in miami and never lost. I didnt get tot talk to the guy myself so i dont have any more info on it.. but talk about a sleeper.

Exactly. Everyone underestimates my car.

It runs a 2.2L I4 with a Garret T04 turbo with intercooler. And topped of with a 5 speed manual. The turbo is limited at about 13psi and for a mere $350 I can chip it and take the boost up to about 22-25psi. I am still running stock with about 185HP and 220 torque. The Baron does 0-60 in the mid 6s.

I want to get the chip to see what she would run after that.

It was a long time ago that I ran it in a 1/4 mile and I remember the time being in the mid to high 13s. The mods to the car are K&N air filter, centerforce clutch, and some minor things like the ignition system. Everything else is just cosmetic.

Man I shoudl buy the chip.
