best 3sfe swap?

i recently overheated and destroyed my '87 3sfe engine. i have 4 grand to spend and i want a fast car and i want to keep my celica. i would like to put a 3sgte motor but i dont know if that will fit in my car. what is the best engine i can fit in my car? thanks!

they make 3sgte engines for your year so i know they will fit it will just take a little time and money like anyother engine swap. shouldnt be too difficult for someone who has all the right tool and is mechanically inclined. try to find the front clip with a 3sgte in it and you will have everything you need. otherwise i you would be part hunting for a while
