Car is '91 GP with 3.1. Car occasionally stalls while driving. It will crank and briefly fire but will not stay running. When the key is in the "ON" position the SES light will flash on and off. While that is happening both my radiator fans turn on and off, seems like a power related thing. I have checked grounds etc. and the only thing I could find was the cable at the alternator was not tight. I tightened that but the problem remains. It also, at different times has set codes 14,22,34 and 53. None of these seem to be the real culprit. Eventually the car starts and runs perfectly. Might this be a defective ECM? Ignition switch maybe? How do I test my ECM for an intermittent problem? Any other suggestions greatly appreciated! Thanks for reading!
