Driving me nuts...

Picking rims is hard. me---->
This is the list.

Rota Slipstreams 15x6 Black 11.9 lbs
http://www.machiii.net/wheels/Rota_Slipstream.html
Volk TE37 15x6 White 8.2 lbs
http://machiii.net/wheels/volk/TE37.html
SSR Competition 15.6 grey 8.0 lbs
www.tirerack.com

Wich ones would look nice on a black 98 honda civic EX? Ive got tokico illuminas and ground control coilovers and its lowered 1.5 in the front and 2.0 in the back. Also I will be wraping whatever rims I get in falken azeni sports.

Another thing ive been thinking about is will the white Volks look on on my black car?
And would it be possible to get them painted later if i dont like how they look?

Re: Driving me nuts...

I'd say go with the Volks if you have the money, which make sure you take into consideration because the Rotas are 450-500 per SET where as the Volks are 300-350 per RIM. The Volks will look much better in person and up close than the Rotas but unless you're willing to go all out and have a completely bad ass car, than it seems kind of odd to spend $1200 on wheels plus tires to go on a car that is just lowered.

I would agree, the Bronze on black would be absolutely awesome. There is a guy that owns a 2003 RSX with Bronze Volks on it and it looks incredible when it drives by. The white, in my opinion, tends to look cheaper, and will only look really cool on certain cars with certain paint jobs.

Please, if you do buy the Volks, do not paint them. They are too beautiful of a rim to be painted.

Re: Driving me nuts...

yea i know how much they cost per set.I have big plans for this car. I have other mods but most of its the usual ICE stuff. Some of it i might remove later on down the road.12 disc cd changer in the trun and jvc head unit with detachable face,2 12 inch pioneers in a custom box wieghing in @ around
25 lbs (if i remember right) and then a ive got a injen cold air intake.

The reason i asked is the wieght difference between the ssrs and the volks are only .2 a wheel wich is only .8 th of a pound for all 4 . Thats not a big difference at all,its not even a whole pound.

Does anyone have any pics of the bronze te37s on a black civic?
