Angry a clicking noise

i have 94 v6 camaro. and every sense i fouled some plugs, it has been making this minor clicking noise. i doesnt affect gas mileage, performance...nothing. it is just annoying as hell. it sounds like it is coming from the right side of the intake twoards the bottom. has anybody ever come across that problem or even heard of it?

Re: Re: a clicking noise

i think the were the original plugs because they were rotten, i barely turn the plug and it broke, they were completely black. horriable condition.

Re: a clicking noise

right side of the intake manifold? so its near the valve covers? could be a valve tap, open plug wire, gasket leak. i traced a clicking sound back to a small hole in my exhaust manifold once, the firing of the engine made it sound like a metal on metal clicking noise but it was only air. hard to tell without knowing more.

Re: a clicking noise

Hold a piece of pipe to your ear and try to trace the source of the sound..

Re: a clicking noise

Could be a valve, a piece of a plug broke off in the chamber, lifter knocking. Start with the easy stuff first. Find out exactly where it's coming from and go from there.
