Engine/Tranmission Mounts Prob

Idk if this is the prob or not but Ive been noticing when I shift up to a higher gear the car sorta "kicks up" you know when you first start off driving a stick and you try to switch fast from 1st to 2nd and kick the engine up cause you gave it to much gas? Yeah feels like that. Im used to busting Tranmission mounts in a RWD car lol so Im not sure if its the engine mounts or the tranmission mounts in the EClipse. Have any of you had this prob? and if so what do you think it is?

Re: Engine/Tranmission Mounts Prob

If the mounts were blown you'd know it. They make this horrible metal on metal sound, kinda like taking a nail and scratching it down some sheet metal, and creak and pop all the damn time. My passenger side mount is busted right now. Its doing that.
